The thin black top conductive layer is the layer that your body makes contact with. It is made of PU (Polyurethane) resin. Leather look-alike items made with polyurethane (PU) are very consumer friendly and safe unlike older PVC leathers. It is vinyl-free and phthalate-free.
The thin black layer of PU leather is infused with conductive carbon pigment for the conductive top layer. Carbon is the 2nd most abundant element in the human body after oxygen and is what conducts the earth's energy. It also makes the Mat naturally flame resistant without the use of harsh flame resistant chemicals.
The bottom, or non-conductive layer, is made of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) closed cell foam. This is among the safest foam used. It is latex and PVC free. This is the same foam used in footwear and in children’s foam toys.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Click the Coil Cord onto your Elite Earthing Mat.
2. Place the Mat black side face up. The blue side will face down.
3. Clip the other end of the Coil Cord into the UK/EU Plug and insert into your wall socket. No need to switch on the electricity you are simply receiving the Earth's free electrons from the grounding port of your socket.
For your safety, locate any connecting cord in such a way that it doesn’t cause a tripping hazard.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
DO's:
- Wipe down the mat using a non-corrosive cleaner like soap and water on a damp sponge.
- Air dry.
- Do not put in the washing machine or dryer.
- Do not use chlorine or bleach.
- Do not use any liquid fabric softener or detergent containing bleach or fabric softener.
- Do not apply lotion, creams, or body oil to your skin before touching the mat. These can oxidise and damage conductivity.
